Fairview Ave. will be closed in both directions between Co. Rd. B and Co. Rd. B2 this coming weekend. Fairview Ave. will close at 9 p.m. Friday, July 14 and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, July 17.
During the closure, access will be maintained at Gluek Lane and Frontage Road, south of Hwy 36.
As reconstruction continues at the Hwy 36 and Fairview Ave. interchange, the ramps and loops between the highway and Fairview Ave. remain closed until late July. Fairview Ave. also is restricted to a single lane in each direction between Co. Rd. B and Co. Rd. B-2 through the end of the project. Motorists continue to have right-in, right-out access only along Fairview Ave. in both directions in the same area. Traffic cannot cross Fairview Ave.
The west entrance to Rosedale Mall also remains closed but is expected to reopen within the next week.
The project is anticipated to be completed by August 24 before the start of the Minnesota State Fair.
Please note that all timeframes are approximate, subject to change, and weather and schedule dependent.
Crews are rebuilding and realigning the ramps and loops at Hwy 36 and Fairview Ave. near the mall in Roseville. The project also will include drainage improvements along the new alignment, build new right turn lanes on northbound Fairview Ave. and remove the concrete median and relocate signals to allow for the through movement of northbound Fairview Ave. traffic to the mall's west entrance. We are rebuilding existing sidewalks along the roadway to meet Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards. The project is anticipated to be complete in late August.
