Roseville’s crew of zany puppets has a new souped-up ride for a fresh season of storytelling and fun!
The Roseville Parks and Recreation Department has unveiled its new Puppet Wagon. A generous donation from Friends of Roseville Parks helped cover the cost of the new vehicle.
The new puppet wagon is fashioned from a used converted box truck covered with imaginative scenes of children climbing a tree, a Ferris wheel, carousel, and a castle and princess. It replaces the previous puppet wagon, which was a converted work truck/camper that was showing its age.
Throughout the summer, the puppet wagon and its crew visit parks around the city and hosts free shows on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Thursday mornings for children and families. The puppet wagon is also featured at community events, such as Discover Your Parks on Wednesday evenings during the summer.
Thank you, Friends of Roseville Parks, for the generous donation, which will delight and inspire a new generation of Roseville children.
