Learn ways to protect your health, your home, and much more at the Senior Resource Fair.
The Roseville Fire Department will host a Senior Resource Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon. The free event will be held at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. N.
“This free event brings together a variety of resources in one place,” said Roseville Fire Chief David Brosnahan. “Like the rest of the country, we know our community is aging. According to U.S. Census data, 22 percent of Roseville residents are 65 and older. We want to ensure that they’re connecting with the services and information they need in our community.”
Activities will include:
- Flu shots and other vaccinations
- Blood pressure checks
- Hands-only CPR demonstrations
- Fall prevention tips
- Housing and transportation resources
- Fire Safety demonstrations and tips
- Volunteer opportunities
