Whether new to yoga or an experienced yoga practitioner, Roseville Parks and Recreation is offering a class that is just right for you, including Sunrise Yoga, Yoga in the Park and Virtual Chair Yoga.
Sunrise Yoga starts with reaching to the sky and listening to the sounds of nature. Mindful breathing, yoga postures adapted to individual experience levels and meditation will help build strength, flexibility, balance and greater mind-body connection. Classes meet at Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum, 2525 North Dale St. on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:30 a.m. from June 16 to August 11. Cost is $107 for series or $17 for single class. Cost for Roseville residents is $99 for series or $15 for a single class.
Yoga in the Park connects nature with the vinyasa style flow class that is suitable for all levels. Classes meet at Oasis Park, 1700 County Road C2 on Saturdays from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. from June 19 to August 14. No class July 3. Cost is $107 for series or $17 for single class. Cost for Roseville residents is $99 for series or $15 for a single class.
Virtual Chair Yoga addresses body asymmetry – as we age, our bodies shift and flexibility and balance may change. This class offers techniques to manage asymmetries. Classes meet on Thursdays via Zoom from 11:00 to noon. Sign up for five weeks or nine weeks of classes. Five-week classes run July 1 to July 29. Cost is $63 regular and $55 for Roseville residents. Nine-week classes run July 1 to August 26. Cost is $107 regular and $99 for Roseville residents.
