Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join us on Saturday, July 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to pull celandine poppy at Reservoir Woods Park.
Please bring gloves and a water bottle. Long pants and sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Volunteers are required to wear gloves when pulling celandine poppy as the golden sap can irritate the skin.
Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at a local park as part of the city’s natural resources renewal project. These efforts help restore native habitat and reduce the spread of non-native species.
Groups, individuals, and families are encouraged to participate. People of all ages are welcome. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are highly encouraged and volunteers are required to social distance.
Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Boogs at rachel.boggs@cityofroseville.com or 651-792-7028 if you are interested in volunteering.
