[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Information and Resources

Covid Info

The City of Roseville has compiled the following information for residents and students to help answer questions and assist those seeking help accessing services and resources.

For concerns about broadband or telephone activity, the Federal Communications Commission has put together resources aimed at keeping Americans connected:

Whether you’re a student, or a parent of a student attending the Mounds View School District or the Roseville Area School District, both have pulled together a variety of resources, including getting meals to students, access to electronic devices, childcare, etc. These resources can be found at the below links:

Are you unable to pay your rent due to loss of job related to COVID-19?  These agencies will provide information about rent and utility shutoff assistance.

Minnesota Home Ownership Center provides information for homeowners including what to know about mortgage relief options and possible scams and scare tactics.

Community Action Partnership offers a variety of support for persons facing challenges because of COVID-19. Services include energy assistance, food support, housing and other needs.

Need access to food?  The Keystone Food Shelf may be able to help.  Call them at 651-645-0349 or visit their website at the link below:

Roseville is partnering with The Sheridan Story, making food available for anyone in need to be picked up at the Roseville Fire Station. Open 24/7.

Having trouble paying your electric and/or gas bill due to loss of income related to COVID-19?  Xcel Energy may waive late fees and stop service disconnections.

  •  Call 1-800-895-4999 for more information.

Need employment assistance?  Two resources include:

Heard something about COVID-19 and wonder if it’s true?  FEMA is maintaining a “rumor control” webpage:

Looking for general health information related to COVID-19.  Ramsey County has assembled a variety of information in one place, including information for the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  Also available via the below link is access to a federally qualified Community Health Center for those who lack a primary care doctor or those who are uninsured, as well as the phone numbers for COVID-19 state hotlines.

Want to help medical professionals and first responders?  Blue Cross and Allina have teamed up and launched a skilled volunteer effort to create masks for hospitals and clinics.  The following link provides a video tutorial on how to make masks and a list of hospitals accepting donations.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has assembled a webpage of information and resources for workers:

Don’t be a victim of a COVID-19 scam. Before donating, check the Minnesota Attorney General’s website to see if the organization you want to donate to is registered. The Minnesota Attorney General’s website has a variety of information for the public on various charities.

Many of us are utilizing various cleaning and hand sanitizing wipes.  These should NOT be flushed down the toilet.  See below link for more information:
