Learn ways to help reduce crime in your neighborhood.

6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will be in the City Council Chambers at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive.
At the meeting, participants will learn about recent crime trends. Police Community Relations Coordinator Corey Yunke will give advice about reporting problem areas, abandoned vehicles, loud parties or suspicious behavior. He’ll provide information about when to call 9-1-1 and how to protect oneself and one’s home. Staff will also demonstrate ways to stay informed with the police department, including the new “Forward to Police” option on Nextdoor.com.
A neighborhood watch group is a great investment in the community. It helps build trust and creates a safer community. Neighborhood watch groups form wherever one lives, whether a home, duplex, town home, condo or apartment building. With an active watch group, Roseville Police communicate directly with block captains about concerns in the neighborhood. Block captains, in turn, pass that information on to neighbors, helping residents understand how criminals operate. Neighbors will be able to recognize suspicious activity, report it to the police and protect the neighborhood.
