Roseville youth, are you interested in the City’s parks and recreation? The City of Roseville is seeking applications for a Youth Commissioner to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
We are looking for a high school student who is interested in parks and recreation. Applicants must be a Roseville resident. Deadline for applying is July 15.
The Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory committee that makes recommendations to the Roseville City Council, City Manager, and Director of the Parks and Recreation Department. They identify areas that may require action or change to promote a harmonious, safe and responsive parks and recreation program. Youth Commissioners are non-voting members who bring the youth viewpoint to the commission.
The commission meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Youth Commissioners serve a one-year term and may be eligible to serve additional terms.
