Have a day of lakeside fun at WaterFest 2016 on Saturday, June 4. The City of Roseville invites you to join the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) for a celebration of clean lakes.
At Waterfest 2016 you’ll get an opportunity for a lot of water fun while learning about water quality, wildlife and ecological features of the beautiful watershed. The event also helps residents make the connection between activities in our neighborhoods and the health of local lakes, streams and wetlands.
Waterfest 2016 will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Phalen Lake Park, St. Paul. Phalen Lake is one of the lakes that make our area a great place to live.
The day of fun includes Voyageur canoe and solar pontoon boat rides, fishing lessons, fishing contest, geocaching, climbing walls, jump castle, native plant give-away landscaping, watershed and art exhibits, music, yoga and more. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Sponsored by RWMWD and the cities of St. Paul, Maplewood, Little Canada, Roseville, Oakdale Shoreview, North St. Paul, White Bear Lake, Ramsey County, Barr Engineering and other partners. Call 651-647-6816 or log on to www.rwmwd.org for more information.
