Training in 2008
The Commission felt City Attorney Scott Anderson could
again provide Ethics training in 2008, as a continuation of the 2007
training, and determined the training should occur in early November. The
Commission asked that Mr. Anderson attend their May meeting to discuss the
2008 training.
Selection of chair and Vice Chair for 2008
Chairman Schneider felt it would be beneficial if other
Commissioners had an opportunity to serve as Chair and Vice-Chair. It was
the Commission consensus to discuss this matter at the May meeting, after the
new member is appointed and there is a full Commission.
City Manager Malinen handed out some information regarding
the City’s efforts in environmental stewardship, for the Commission’s
information, and lapel pins for the members.
City Manager Malinen asked about the Commission’s meeting
with the City Council, and it was determined to address after the new
Commission appointment.
Chairman Schneider and Commissioner Pederson expressed
their deep appreciation for Commissioner Appoloni’s service on the

during the Commission’s initial year was important to developing the
processes on ethics opinions and training.
