PERMITS
In an effort to continue providing efficient processing of permits, please submit applications online using our ePermits system. This is applicable for nearly all permits, including permits requiring plan review. Digital plans can be uploaded during the online application process.

A contractor license is required to perform work in the City of Roseville unless the contractor is currently licensed by the State of Minnesota. The City also requires any company that removes or trims trees from public or private property to hold a Tree Care Registry with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Read More
The City of Roseville licenses several different types of businesses that operate within its borders. Roseville’s licensing regulations may be found in Chapters 301-311 and Chapters 402-403 of the City Code. Applications for licenses must be approved by the City Council and are valid from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. Read More
Driver's Licenses
The Roseville License Center serves the general public as a Minnesota Department of Public Safety Deputy offering licenses for drivers, cars, boats, off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, as well as fishing and hunting. The License Center also provides passport services. Read More
Pet licenses may be purchased for dogs and cats at City Hall. Stop by the front desk during business hours, bring proof that your dog or cat has been vaccinated (and sterilized or microchipped, if applicable), and fill out a license application. Read More
