Why do firefighters break windows and chop holes in roofs?
It may look like we just like to take out our aggressions, but there is a reason. Broken windows and roof venting allow smoke and heat to escape, causing less damage and allowing firefighters to better do their job.

No. Most fire departments, including ours, have a mix of male and female firefighters.
