1. How do I report a street light outage?

2. What is the right-of-way?

Right-of-way is city-owned property that encompasses the street and boulevard, which in Roseville runs an average of 12'-14' behind the curb.

3. How do I find my property lines?

The City does not survey residential properties. A metal stake should be buried at each corner of the property, which can be located with a metal detector. Contact the Engineering Department to get additional information on where your front property line starts. Contact Public Works

4. Where can I get information on my property taxes and assessments?

5. Who do I call if there's an issue with the sewer?

If you have a sewer backup, the first thing to do is call the City. During the workday, call 651-792-7004, and after hours call 651-767-0640. We will send someone out to determine whether the blockage is in the homeowner’s sewer line or in the City’s sewer main.

If the blockage is in the homeowner’s sewer line (connection from the home to the sewer main), the homeowner is responsible to contact a plumber and pay any cleanup or repair costs.

6. What are those flags for in my front yard?

When the City, utility companies, or others need to dig in the right-of-way, locations of buried lines in that area are marked with colored flags to avoid damaging them. Call Gopher State One Call to have utilities marked 651-454-0002, 1-800-252-1166. Gopher State One Call
