2024 Golden Rose Medallion Hunt clues deciphered
Clue #1:
"The Medallion Hunt is back again!
Be sure to run and tell a friend.
In the hunt for our Medallion you all will roam,
Through Roseville parks, forests, and fields you all will comb.
Daily clues and hints you all will decipher,
Each day getting closer, your spirits grow higher.
Get going! Head out! And search in our parks,
Our Medallion Hunt has begun, there's no better time to start!"
Clue #1 is an open invitation to get outside and venture into Roseville’s 32 parks! Our city has nearly 700 acres of beautiful public green space including forest, wetlands, and even savannah. The Golden Medallion Hunt is a great opportunity to explore!
Clue #2:
"The first clue has been given with so much at stake
a prize basket awarded to those who chose not to wait.
This second clue here indeed will be much less hazy,
awards will be waiting for those who chose not to be lazy.
So get on, get going! Our Medallion is hiding
in a park off a well-traveled road it's location residing.
Clue #2 signals the medallion is “hidden in a park off a well-traveled road.” Pioneer Park is a short walk from busy Lexington Avenue! We also highlight our prize basket worth more than $1,200 in this clue. Thank you to all our sponsors who provided fantastic prizes.
Clue #3:
"We've arrived at our third clue and still no Medallion.
Which is a bit odd because it's normally been found, then I suppose these first clues have been a bit harder.
So here is another, no need to go farther.
Past this oft-traveled road and just to the east you'll find our Medallion in this quieter park, resting in peace continue your search and do not delay.
The Medallion could be discovered by the end of the day!"
Clue #3 teases our intrepid treasure hunters that this year’s competition has been a “bit harder.” This clue again references the “oft-traveled road” Lexington Avenue and indicates Pioneer Park is “just to the east.” “Quieter park, resting in peace” lets medallion gumshoes know to look in a smaller neighborhood park vs. the nearby Reservoir Woods Park.

The park's name an alliteration, my gift to you
Another tip I have is to check high and low here
It won't be found next to a trail or forest where you might see a deer
