SNAG (Starting New At Golf)

 

"SNAGsters" are taught golf fundamentals using the Starting New At Golf (SNAG) program. Putting, chipping, pitching and full shots are learned using adapted equipment developed with a youngster's height and small hands in mind, creating a fun learning and playing experience. All equipment is provided. Space is limited in each program. There are four weeks of lessons. Sessions take place at the Acorn Park Baseball Fields.

Youth Golf Mini-Clinic

Learn the fundamentals of golf. Work on grip, stance, swing, and putting. Four sessions, first three sessions at Acorn Park - 286 County Road C (between Dale & Rice), and fourth session at the U of M Driving Range - 2275 Larpenteur Ave W (Falcon Heights). Limited to eight golfers. Clubs available upon request. If you have clubs, bring them.

Youth Golf League


This league is open to boys and girls ages 9 - 15! League play is on Mondays for 8 weeks, June 16 - August 4. Continued this year is a girls-only block of tee times, 11:30am-12pm! Mixed boys & girls tee times are 12:00-2:30pm. Different events with prizes are played each week. Scramble tournament played on the last day of the league, with root beer floats to follow the round. Registration fee includes online clinic, green fees, league keepsake, weekly prizes and end of season treat on the last day of league.  Registration fee is $128 ($118 if Roseville resident).

Online Basics/Etiquette Clinic for Youth League Members


 This short video will go over golf basics and provide tips to help golfers get through their round efficiently.

Need Clubs?


To encourage kids to play golf even if they don't own their own set of clubs, a limited number of rental clubs are available to youth league members thanks to the Roseville Senior League! Complimentary club usage is available during youth league only. Please contact the clubhouse manager to reserve a set.
