Catch the buzz – the mosquito buzz at Roseville’s Mosquito Bluegrass Jam. We’ll showcase traditional American music, including bluegrass, Old-Time, blues, jazz, early rock n roll, Cajun/Zydeco, country and folk music.
Meet us at the Rog Amphitheatre, 2540 N. Lexington Ave., Roseville. We’ll be buzzing from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2.
Bill and Sarah Cagley will be your hosts for the day. Musicians can drop in from 2:00 to 3:45 at the Jaycee Shelter and join Cagley as he leads a beginner’s music jam. Listeners are welcome.
Monroe Crossing will play two sets, one at 4:30 and then again at 6:30 p.m. In between their sets, Pride of the Prairie will get you on the dance floor for clogging lessons and performances.
Bill Cagley is a member of Greenwood Tree, a Twin Cities Contra dance band. Greenwood Tree's sound is a blend of traditional Celtic jigs and reels, waltzes, and American folk songs.
