Are you thinking of remodeling or updating your home in Roseville? Go green. Not only will you save money and help protect the environment, you could receive an award.
Each year the Roseville’s Housing and Redevelopment (RHRA) recognizes owners of residential properties who use best practices for improvements when building or remodeling a home in Roseville.
Cindy and Ward Schwie received the 2014 Green Building/Remodeling Award for the work they did to update nearly every part of their home and property. And they did it all with an eye toward environmental stewardship and sustainability. When possible they reused or recycled materials and integrated smart technology when making home improvements. They also improved the landscaping by diverting water into their gardens and adding a food compost bin.
