Roseville youth, join us in promoting human rights. The City of Roseville is seeking applications for a Youth Commissioner to the Human Rights Commission (HRC). The deadline to apply is May 15 with interviews on May 20.
We are looking for a student who is interested in protecting human rights for all, a Roseville resident, and a sophomore, junior or senior in high school.
The HRC provides a method for citizen input concerning human rights issues and promotes a positive human rights climate in the community. Youth Commissioners are non-voting members who bring the youth viewpoint to the Commission.
The HRC meets the third Wednesday of most months at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Youth Commissioners serve a one-year term and may be eligible to serve additional terms. Online applications are available or call 651-792-7001 and one will be sent to you.
