Kids, explore the world of volcanoes, rocks and minerals, traveling sediment, earth movements and prehistoric animal fossils. Join us for this unique spring break camp where we learn all about stones, rocks and minerals.
Mornings feature nature education and afternoons are full of nature-related activities. You’ll get to prepare stone soup, go rock climbing and ice skating and so much more.
This fun camp meets March 16 to March 20 and is designed for boys and girls in first to fifth grades.
Camp meets from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 North Dale Street. Kids can sign up for three days ($121 or $113 for Roseville residents) or for the entire week ($186 regular or $178 for Roseville residents). If signing up for three days, choose Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Be prepared for spring weather – bring jackets, raingear, indoor shoes, boots and water bottle. Morning and afternoon snacks provided. Kids provide their own lunch.
