The City of Roseville celebrates Black History Month as an opportunity to uplift the stories and achievements of Black Americans who have influenced systemic change.
The City of Roseville City Council voted unanimously to recognize February 2022 as Black History Month in the City of Roseville.
"The City of Roseville celebrates Black History Month as an opportunity to uplift the stories and achievements of Black Americans that have influenced systemic change," says Equity and Inclusion Manager Thomas Brooks.
"As we remember and celebrate, we acknowledge both how far we've come and how much work is still ahead. There is no more relevant time for this month's theme of 'Black Health and Wellness.'"
