[ARCHIVED] Fire Station Review

What are Roseville's future fire station needs? Serve on a committee that will review and make recommendations.

The Roseville Fire Department is seeking community volunteers, including retired firefighters, to serve on a Fire Station Review Committee. Current firefighters will also serve on the committee. The committee will review Roseville’s fire station needs. They will look at a variety of alternatives, including whether to replace or renovate an existing fire station or whether to build a fire facility at a new location, among other topics.

The committee will make recommendations to the City Council in the spring of 2011.

The committee will begin meeting in mid-July. They will meet weekly for up to six months. Meetings will be in the evening at the best time for all committee members. Contact Acting Fire Chief Tim O’Neill or call him at 651-792-7305 by June 30 if you are interested in volunteering on the committee.
