For the past 18 months, the City of Roseville, together with Ramsey County and the cities of Maplewood and St. Paul, have been working on a visioning plan for the Rice Street-Larpenteur Avenue Gateway Corridor. The cities hired a consulting group and established a Gateway Planning Committee of city and county officials and a Community Advisory Group of planning commissioners and residents, business owners and other stakeholders from each of the cities to develop strategies to invest in the area that includes southeast Roseville and parts of St. Paul and Maplewood. All three cities adopted the plan that will help guide investment in the area. The three cities and Ramsey County will have interactive stations set up at the Rice Street and Larpenteur Avenue intersections within each city. Visitors can meet with area businesses and see short- and long-term vision plans for the area. There will also be activities and treats for the kids.Get more information and review the plan at www.riceandlarpenteur.com.
