All that snow has put a damper on the Roseville’s spring-cleaning. The Public Works crew is anxious to turn in snowplows for street sweepers, but they’ll have to wait until the snow melts.
Once the snow melts, crews will begin sweeping city streets, cleaning up sand and debris before it is washed into the storm sewer system.
Crews will start work on main roadways and environmentally sensitive areas around lakes and wetlands. Then they’ll sweep the remaining streets. Sweeping generally occurs between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The City of Roseville appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation as crews are working sweeping the streets. Pedestrians, bikers and drivers, please take extra care around the heavy equipment. Call Roseville Public Works at 651-792-7004 if you have questions.
