Celebrate Earth Day. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) on Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day that celebrates our planet.
Earth Day activities include music, parade, crafts, tours, planting a tree and butterfly-friendly plants and an Earth Day birthday cake.
The first 100 guests (one per family) will receive a Chinook Book, thanks to a donation from Music Go Round. Chinook Books have local coupons that promote environmental stewardship. Additionally, we’ll give away tree seedlings and garden seeds, while supplies last. Visitors can also enter a drawing for a variety of prizes.
The Earth Day celebration is sponsored by B-Dale Club, Half Price Books and Kinderberry Hill. This will be a zero waste event. Volunteers from Eureka Recycling and the City of Roseville will assist with recycling and answer questions about recycling.
Harriet Alexander Nature Center is located at 2520 N. Dale Street in Roseville. For more information visit www.cityofroseville.com/HANC or call 651-765-HANC (4262).
