Kids, are you looking for a creative way to spend your spring break? Roseville Parks and Recreation is offering three camps this spring break where you can create some artistic masterpieces.
- Unicorns and Their Fairy Friends – March 5 and 7, 9:00 a.m. until noon. Unicorns, fairies and mythical creatures will inspire you at this camp. Dream of swimming with mermaids, flying on the back of Pegasus, fight a fire-breathing dragon and more. Especially designed for kids ages 4 to 9. Cost is $62 for the two mornings.
- Beginning Drawing – March 6 and 8, 9:00 a.m. until noon. This drawing camp is playful, imaginative and energetic. Work with paint, glitter, bubbles and more as we introduce your young artist to basic art terms and drawing techniques. Kids receive a sketchbook to take home. Especially designed for kids ages 5 to 12. Cost is $62 for the two mornings.
- Party with Picasso – March 9, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Let’s party with Pablo. Young artists will create fantastic works of art inspired by Pablo Picasso. Examples of Picasso’s work will be available to delight and educate your child about this cubist style of artwork. Especially designed for kids ages 5 to 12. Cost is $72 for the daylong camp. Kids should bring a snack, lunch and drink.
All camps meet at Oasis Park Building, 1700 County Road C2, Roseville. Please pack a nut-free snack and drink for your child.
