Have fun in the snow! Roseville Parks and Recreation is offering cross-country ski classes. Classes are designed for beginners and advanced beginners combined in one class.
Classes meet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on January 13 and 14 or January 27 and 28. Participants 8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Small class sizes so you’ll get lots of personal attention.
Cost is $37 or $29 for Roseville residents. Classes meet at Acorn Park, 286 County Road C. Call 651-792-7110 to register or register at www.cityofroseville.com/parks.
Skis, boots and poles are available to rent for $8.00 for the class. Skis are generally available for skiers 12 years and older. Call the Parks and Recreation Department at 651-792-7006 to rent the skis. You don’t have to take a class to rent skis.
Once you’ve learned to cross-country ski you can make your own trails at any of Roseville’s parks, or as weather permits, the city grooms ski trails at the golf course.
