Come on cold – we’re ready to skate. Roseville city crews have been prepping local skating rinks, but it will depend of Mother Nature to determine when the city's outdoor neighborhood rinks will open.
It takes several days of below freezing temperatures to get rinks ready for skating. The city’s goal is to open rinks on December 21 but that is weather dependent. Get the latest information about outdoor rinks opening at www.cityofroseville.com/rinks.
Roseville offers warming rooms at Acorn, Autumn Grove, Lexington, Sandcastle and Villa Parks.
• Acorn Park, 286 County Road C
• Autumn Grove Park, 1365 Lydia Ave.
• Lexington Park, 2131 Lexington Ave.
• Sandcastle Park, 3060 Patton Ave.
• Villa Park, 2055 Cohansey Blvd.
The outdoor rinks have pushbutton lighting that lets skaters stay on the ice until 10:00 p.m., even when warming rooms are closed. Staffing at the outdoor rinks is dependent on weather conditions. Warming rooms and rinks close when warm weather causes ice to be unsafe for skating or when temperatures drop to -15° or -25° wind chill.
Mapleview Park, 2917 Matilda St., has a skating rink without a warming room.
Rinks are available for private rentals at certain times. To rent a rink, please contact Steve Anderson at 651-792-7154 or steve.anderson@cityofroseville.com.
