Each fall, Roseville Police get an increased number of complaints about cars coasting past stop signs and stoplights or racing to beat yellow lights. It’s not worth the extra seconds.
RPD is asking drivers to do their part to help keep pedestrians and bikers safe.
Throughout the month of October, Roseville officers will be putting a greater emphasis on stop sign and red light safety, stopping and ticketing drivers who ignore basic rules of the road.
The goal is not to hand out tickets, but rather to raise awareness about the importance of following traffic rules to reduce traffic deaths and serious injuries.
