[ARCHIVED] Lower Your Heating Bills

Concerned about big heating bills this winter? Check out the Citizen’s Utility Board (CUB) of Minnesota, a new non-profit organization that can help you with ideas to save money.

The Roseville Area Senior Program (RASP) and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) have joined forces to bring consulting and an educational presentation to Roseville area residents.

CUB’s expert staff offer free one-on-one consultations to review gas and electric bills, provide customized ideas to reduce energy use, and share information about money saving programs and rebates. CUB also has expertise with renewable energy options.

One-on-one consultations in the Roseville area are available in September and October. Make sure to bring your gas and utilities bills. Each consultation lasts approximately 20 minutes.  RSVPs are recommended as space is limited.

  • September 19, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Roseville Farmer’s Market at 2141 Fairview Ave
  • September 26, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Roseville Farmer’s Market at 2141 Fairview Ave
  • October 30, 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., Roseville Senior Center, 1910 County Road B

CUB will also be giving an educational presentation with tips on how to reduce your energy bills on Tuesday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B.  Please call RASP at 651-604-3520 to reserve your spot.  There is no fee.

For more information about CUB Minnesota or to schedule a free one-on-one consultation, visit or call 1-844-MINN-CUB (1-844-646-6282).
