Love to go fast? The Roseville Skating Center is offering two new speedskating courses. Classes will be available for both beginning and novice speedskaters.
Beginning Ice Skating for Speedskaters is designed for students, ages 4 to 12, who are new to ice skating, but interested in learning speedskating. Lessons meet from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning June 14 to August 9; no lessons on July 5. Cost is $71.
Novice Speedskating is designed for students, ages 5 to 12, who know how to skate (hockey or figure skate), but would like to try speedskating or improve their skills. Lessons meet from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays from May 15 to June 5 and then on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. No lessons on May 29 or July 1. Cost is $95 for Roseville residents and $104 for non-residents.
