The cities of Roseville, Maplewood, and Saint Paul are collaborating with Ramsey County on ways to revitalize the Rice St/Larpenteur Ave corridors. To assist in this effort, the cities are forming a Community Advisory Group.
The Community Advisory Group will assist in the visioning of the Rice Street/Larpenteur Avenue Gateway Planning Area and provide community input to help shape the development plan for the project.
Applications from community stakeholders interested in serving on the 18-person committee are being accepted at www.cityofroseville.com/CAGApplication. The deadline to apply is April 14. The Gateway Area Planning Committee will notify applicants of the final committee selection by the end of April 2017.
Roseville, Maplewood, and Saint Paul, along with Ramsey County, share a common interest in supporting redevelopment and reinvestment in the Rice Street/Larpenteur Avenue Gateway Planning Area. This process provides communities with a unique opportunity to cooperatively develop a vision for the short- and long-term future of the area.
The primary purpose of the project is to understand and respond to barriers, challenges, benefits and opportunities associated with changes in land use, access, and transit services, and to review potential sites for redevelopment throughout the study area.
