Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), operator of the metro-area wastewater collection and treatment system, is hosting two meeting regarding improvements to sanitary sewer facilities that serve Roseville.
The Met Council invites residents and businesses to two open houses to discuss the project. The first meeting is on Wednesday, March 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. At the meeting, the Met Council will discuss improvements that are being made at Upper Villa Park.
A second meeting will be on Wednesday, March 15 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. At the meeting, the Met Council will discuss improvements that are being made along Avon Street and Troseth Road.
Both meetings will be at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville.
Improvements will be made to approximately 5,000 feet of regional sanitary sewer line and will include temporary pipes and pumps to divert wastewater while work is being completed. A liner will be installed inside the existing sewer. Sewer manholes will be repaired or replaced, as necessary. Work is expected to begin in July 2017 through October 2018.
