The Roseville Human Rights Commission (HRC) invites you to a free discussion about depression in older adults on January 19. The session features a speaker who will identify risk factors, warning signs, treatment, and recovery.
Feelings of sadness, loneliness and grief are normal, but when this sadness is intense, is felt for a long time, interferes with one’s ability to get along with others, or interferes with ability to carry out activities of everyday life, then it could be depression.
The discussion will also provide resources for family members and for older adults who may have depression. There is no need to register.
