The Roseville Police Department’s Telly Award-winning video ride-along series “RVPD Behind the Badge” returns to Roseville Cable Channel 16 this weekend with the third episode of the popular series.
Episode III of “RVPD Behind the Badge” will debut on Friday at 6:00 p.m., with a repeat airing Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.
The 35-minute show will air four times during October and features Officer Joe Cox, a former prosecuting attorney turned RVPD Officer, working the night shift. Officer Cox encounters domestic disturbances, drivers under the influence of alcohol, a rollover accident, and other all-too-common vehicular offenses during his shift.
In addition to airing on Channel 16, all three episodes of “RVPD Behind the Badge” are available via the City’s website at www.cityofroseville.com/behindthebadge. The goal of this series is to enhance outreach to the surrounding community by showcasing the RVPD behind the scenes.
“RVPD Behind the Badge” is produced by CTV North Suburbs. It is sponsored in part by a grant from the Roseville Police Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to advance public safety by supporting and providing additional resources to strengthen the RVPD through an enhanced capacity to provide quality services through outreach and innovative training.
