We’re celebrating a brand new transportation opportunity that’s coming to Roseville. Join us on Saturday, June 11 near HarMar Mall to celebrate the start of Metro Transit’s A Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
The A Line will provide riders with fast and frequent stops from Rosedale Center and HarMar Mall to South Minneapolis. It will connect with both of the light rail lines and other bus routes, providing customers with faster access to more business, recreation, dining and shopping options.
The new A Line buses offer several amenities to improve your traveling experience. The Wi-Fi equipped buses will run every 10 minutes, and stations will have real-time departure signs, maps and signage with improved lighting, security cameras and emergency phones. The specialized buses will have wider doors making it easier and faster for passengers to get on and off.
To help introduce the A Line to the community, the City of Roseville and Metro Transit are hosting celebrations along the A Line. Join us on Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’ll have special activities at the HarMar stop, including food and entertainment, police, fire, and public works trucks and kids’ activities.
There will also be celebrations at the 46th Street Station in Minneapolis, and at the corner of Snelling and University Ave., and at the Highland Park stop in St. Paul. Metro Transit is offering free A Line and Route 84 rides on June 11, 12, and 13.
