Proposed Ordinances

Under Minnesota state law signed May 23, 2017 and effective August 1, 2017, cities must provide a 10-day notice of proposed ordinances. The law applies to new proposed ordinances and proposed amendments to existing ordinances.

Ordinances for consideration by the City Council are listed below. Once adopted, ordinances will be listed on the Recently Adopted Ordinances page until codified, or added to the Roseville City Code. Once ordinances are codified, they no longer stand on their own, but must be read in the context of the city code.

The online version City Code was last updated on December 5, 2022 and includes all ordinances published prior to that date.
