Roseville to Host Business Exchange

The Roseville Economic Development Authority invites local businesses to a free networking event. Please join us on Wednesday, December 4 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, 2905 Centre Pointe Dr., Roseville. It’s a chance for local businesspeople to meet each other and meet city officials and staff. The Roseville Visitors Association, Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce are cosponsoring the annual event.

Find the Perfect Holiday Gift

Holiday shoppers, visit Roseville’s Holiday Craft Fair and find the perfect gift for everyone on your list. Visit City Hall on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Sunday, December 8 from noon to 4:00 p.m. Shoppers will find unique holiday gifts, including many “green” items. About 55 local artisans are offering woodcrafts, hand-knit items, clothing, soap, paper goods, jewelry, canned goods and fine chocolates, to name a few.

Meet Santa!

Cookies and Cocoa with Kris Kringle

Kids, Santa is coming to town and he wants to meet you. Join us on Saturday, December 7 for cookies, crafts and cocoa. Bring your camera and capture the fun. The event is especially designed for kids ages 2 to 10. Cost is $9.00 per child, and child must be accompanied by an adult. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until noon at Cedarholm Community Building, 2323 Hamline Ave.

The packaging might say “flushable” but don’t believe it. Baby wipes, disinfecting wipes, paper towels or anything other than toilet paper should not go down your toilet. Roseville’s utility crew knows firsthand what a mess they can leave behind. When the utility crew gets a call about backed up sewers, they often find balls of baby wipes, toilet cleaning pads, hygiene products and paper towels matted together. It turns out that flushable products shouldn’t be flushed. They don’t break down like toilet paper. Read more
