City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving 

Roseville city offices will be closed on November 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The License Center and Passport Center will close Thursday and reopen on Monday. Roseville police and firefighters remain on duty. Garbage and recycling services on Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day.

2020 Budget and Tax Levy Hearing

The Roseville City Council will hold its final hearing on the 2020 budget and tax levy on Monday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting represents the final chance for residents to weigh in on next year’s proposed budget. Stop Package Thefts

The way we shop has changed. Instead of going to the store, the store comes to our homes. Mail carriers and package delivery companies are dropping packages and gifts at our doors. It makes shopping easier, but it also makes it easier for thieves to grab packages that are left at your doorstep. Roseville police offer suggestions to help prevent package theft. If possible, have packages delivered to your work or to a trusted friend or neighbor who will be available at the delivery time. Read more

Skate the Calories Away

Skate the Calories Away

Planning to sneak an extra piece of pie this Thanksgiving? Can’t say no to stuffing? Go ahead and indulge, then forget the guilt and head over to the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL to skate those extra calories away. According to the Calorie Control Council, the average Thanksgiving dinner is about 3,000 calories, and drinks, desserts and appetizes can bring the total calorie count up to 4,500. That’s 50 to 75 percent more calories than most people need in a day. Read more

Fire and Ice at the OVAL

Cool down on the ice then warm up beside the bonfire. The Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive, hosts open skating and a bonfire at the OVAL on Friday evenings, weather permitting. Admission is $7.00, and 10 session punch cards are available for $62. Skates are available to rent for $5.00, or bring your own skates.
