OVAL Opens Friday! 

The 2019-20 skating season opens Friday, November 8. Grab your skates and meet us at the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive. We’ll open for skating from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is $7.00 or $62.00 for a 10-session punch card.

House Committee to Visit OVAL

Members of the Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee will visit the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL on Wednesday, November 13 to review the facility and Roseville's $5 million bonding request. The 30-minute visit by the committee is scheduled to run from 9:40 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. It will include brief remarks from city officials, including Roseville Mayor Dan Roe, and time for questions and answers from the committee for city staff and elected representatives. Open to Business Open House

Open to Business Open House

The Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) will hold an open house from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 at its new Roseville satellite office in The Reserve, 1915 Hwy 36 W, Suite 113. Ramsey County and city officials, plus MCCD staff, including Ramsey County Business Advisor Noah Her, will be on hand to answer questions and provide information for interested parties. Ramsey County joins six other counties making MCCD services available to residents. Read more

Leaf Compost Site Closing Soon

The Roseville Leaf Compost Site will close for the season on November 27. Roseville residents who still have leaves can take them to a free Ramsey County Yard Waste site. They are open weekends throughout the winter. You can also contact your trash hauler to remove leaves, grass clippings, brush, branches, soil and other yard waste. Trash haulers in Roseville are required to offer separate yard waste pickup, although they may charge an extra fee. Read more

Hands-Only CPR Class

Learn how to save a life. Roseville firefighters are offering free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. This month the class will be on November 20. Classes meet at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. Firefighters teach an easy-to-learn, hands-only CPR process. Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops and can no longer pump blood to the brain or vital organs. Read more

Community Foundation Funds

The Roseville Community Foundation invites organizations to apply for up to $2,500 in grant money. This quarter’s deadline is November 25. The foundation is funded by Roseville’s share of charitable gambling profits. The mission of the foundation is to administer charitable funds to enhance the physical, emotional, cultural and intellectual life of the Roseville area. The foundation welcomes requests from local non-profit organizations, service organizations, places of worship and schools. Read more
