Block Party

Rice+Larpenteur Block Party

Join us for a fun celebration of the Rice & Larpenteur community at a summer block party on August 17 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will be held in the MyThrift Store/Giant Wash parking area at the corner of Rice and Larpenteur in Saint Paul. All are welcome. The Summer Block Party will feature music, dance, games, food and more. Local businesses and artists will be on hand to show off what makes this neighborhood special. Read more

Youth Commission Openings

Roseville teens, help shape the future. The City of Roseville is looking for high school students to volunteer as youth commissioners. We’re looking for volunteers to serve on three commissions. We’re looking for youths to bring valuable teen perspective and help shape Roseville’s future. Youths will make connections and gain experience to help build their resume. The city is looking for students who live in Roseville and are in high school. Home-schooled students are also welcome. Read more

Smallfoot at the OVAL

Bring the kids, bring a treat, bring a comfy seat and enjoy a movie under the stars. Join Roseville Parks and Recreation on Friday, August 9 for an evening of free family fun. We are showing the Pixar Disney film Smallfoot. The adventure begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Roseville OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive. Bring snacks and blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. Remodel Green

Building or remodeling? Roseville wants you to go green. To encourage you, the Roseville Economic Development Authority (REDA) is offering prizes for residential property owners who do it best. The REDA will recognize the top three residential properties that show best practices for green improvements when building or remodeling a home. Please submit applications by November 30. Winners will be notified in January. The winning property owner will receive a $500 grand prize. Read more

Share the Road

Bicycling is a great way to get around town. It’s fast and affordable and Roseville has many miles of paths and trails for bicyclists to enjoy. Unfortunately, bikes don’t offer a lot of protection if a bike and a motor vehicle collide. The safety of bicyclists is everyone’s responsibility. Roseville Police reminds you of the rules of the road so that everyone stays safe.
