Community Development Director

Planning and economic development veteran Janice Gundlach has been selected to lead the City of Roseville’s Community Development Department. She replaces Kari Collins, who accepted a role with Ramsey County in November. As Community Development Director, Gundlach will manage a staff of 13 and oversee Roseville’s economic development strategies, land use and planning policies, building permits and inspections, and code enforcement. Keep Your Water Flowing

Extreme cold temperatures can lead to frozen water service lines. To avoid service line freeze-ups, Roseville Public Works recommends that residents check the temperature of the cold water coming from their taps to make sure they are not in the danger zone. If the water temperature coming from a cold tap on the lowest level of your house is at or below 38°, a service line may be in danger of freezing up. Read more

Helping your Snowplow Driver

Whether two inches of snow or ten, it’s a challenge for Roseville’s snowplow drivers to quickly and safely clear the roads. Roseville has more than 350 lane miles and nearly 70 miles of sidewalks and pathways to clear after each snow event. It takes up to eight hours to plow the city following a four-inch snowfall, and the more snow that falls, the longer it takes. Roseville’s snowplow operators remind drivers of the guidelines so they can plow quickly and efficiently. Read more
