Couple Makes Generous Donation

The Roseville Fire Department this week honored long-time residents and supporters Hugh and Julie Thibodeau for a generous donation that allowed the department to invest in an infrared sauna. The new sauna will be used by firefighters for post-firefighting decontamination procedures. Each year, hundreds of firefighters across the country are diagnosed with cancer. Research indicates that firefighters are more at risk for the disease because crews are consistently exposed to toxins. Read more

It’s a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with resources that can help to enhance their employment opportunities, learn new skills and build their resume. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with employers that are hiring entry-level positions with opportunities for professional growth. Coffee with a Cop

Join Roseville Police Officers for free coffee and conversation. The Police Department is hosting Coffee with a Cop on Saturday, April 7 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Roseville Byerlys, 1601 County Road C. Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers who help keep Roseville safe. Read more

Leaf Site Opening Soon

Spring cleanup is about to begin. But what to do with all those old leaves? You can add them to the backyard compost bin, or Roseville residents can drop them off at the city’s leaf compost site. The compost site is located on Dale Street, south of County Road C. The gate will be open for residents to drive their vehicles in to drop off leaves Monday, April 9 through Friday, May 4. Residents can drop off leaves other hours by carrying them through the side gate. Read more
