Community Workshop 2

What’s next for Roseville? Residents and businesses are invited to learn about plans for Roseville’s future at Roseville 2040 - Community Workshop 2 on November 8 and 9. Throughout 2017, the City of Roseville has been gathering input from residents and businesses about the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update, which is required every 10 years by the Metropolitan Council. The City will review the update process with residents at two meetings in November. Read more

Connecting Roseville

As part of its commitment to make Roseville a more walkable community, Roseville is completing work on several gaps in walkways to connect pedestrian pathways and sidewalks to improve public safety and to give pedestrians easier access to major intersections and bus stops or street crossings. The City is finishing four sections this fall. Read more

Block Captain Meetings

Protecting your Neighborhood

Crime happens – even in your neighborhood. But you can help prevent it. Learn how at Roseville’s block captain training on November 14 and 16. Even if you are not a neighborhood block captain, you are invited to attend either of the meetings to learn ways to help reduce crime in your neighborhood. Meetings will be at Roseville City Hall. Participants will learn about recent crime trends from Police Community Relations Coordinator Corey Yunke. Read more

Change Your Clocks and Batteries

Stay safe. Replace the batteries in your smoke alarm and carbon monoxide (CO) detector once a year. The Roseville Fire Department suggests you change batteries every year when you move your clocks back at the end of Daylight Saving Time. In addition to replacing batteries annually, smoke alarms and CO detectors should be replaced at least once every 10 years. According to the State Fire Marshall, residential fires account for more than 80% of all fire deaths in Minnesota.  Read more

Super OVALumination! 

This year it’s bigger and better than ever – OVALumination! Each winter Roseville lights up the OVAL with thousands of lights; and this winter we’re celebrating the Super Bowl, so we’re doing it bigger and better. Join University of Minnesota’s Goldy Gopher and Minnesota Wild’s Nordy on Friday, November 10 at 6:00 p.m. when we light up the trees surrounding the OVAL. Then, stick around for ice skating, entertainment and tons of fun! Free admission to see the lights; $6.00 to skate. Read more
