Roseville CSO Receives Scholarship

Congratulations to Community Service Officer Ku Tha Tee, recipient of the first Roseville Police Foundation scholarship. Tee received a $5,000 scholarship to help pay for the state-mandated skills training program that all police candidates must complete to become a licensed police officer in Minnesota. Delivering public safety services is a complex task, and a peace officer’s ability to provide service responsive to the public’s needs depends upon knowledge, skills and experience. Read more


Roseville firefighters really know how to cook, and they plan to dish up a hearty serving of the best Booya around. Join the Roseville Fire Department Auxiliary at its annual fundraiser on Sunday, October 1, at 11:00 a.m. at the Jaycee Shelter in Central Park, 2540 Lexington Ave., Roseville. Booya is a hearty beef, chicken and vegetable soup. It will be available for $5.00 per scoop. Hot dogs and other food items will also be available. Read more

Too Many Pumpkins!

Kids, are you looking for a creative way to spend your October school break? Sign up today for Roseville’s Too Many Pumpkins Camp, especially for kids in grades 1 to 6. Campers will have a fabulous time playing with pumpkins. They will carve a Jack-o-Lantern, cook up tasty pumpkin treats, compete in the Pumpkin Olympics, enjoy pumpkin poetry, and hike the nature center trails. Camp is October 19 and 20 and only a few spots remain so register today. Read more

Become a Master Water Steward

Wherever you live, you can make a real difference in the health of our waters. Become a master water steward. The program certifies people in installing and educating residents on stormwater projects. Participants in the Master Water Steward program receive training in hydrology, stormwater, environmental decision making, and other topics. The program is a partnership between the Freshwater Society, participating cities, non-profits, and watershed management organizations. Read more
