Transaction Times

License Center Transaction Times

Please allow for extra time when visiting the Roseville License Center. In July, the state of Minnesota updated its motor vehicle and driver’s license system. Although the transactions are completed while the customer is at the counter, processing the transactions is taking longer than anticipated. This has created longer wait times at license centers across the state. Officials are asking that residents budget extra time to renew driver’s licenses or complete other vehicle or fishing or hunting license transactions. Read more

Play it Safe

Beginning August 18, Roseville Police will join law enforcement agencies across Minnesota in a Towards Zero Death (TZD) effort to reduce the number of injuries and deaths in traffic accidents. The TZD effort reminds motorists to play it safe – buckle up, drive sober, put away the cell phone and drive at safe speeds. Police officers around the state will work extra hours through the Labor Day weekend to target anyone who is speeding or driving while intoxicated or driving while distracted. Read more

Dementia: Diagnosis to Treatment

How do medical professionals test for dementia, and what treatment options are available? Find out on Thursday, August 10 at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville when the Roseville Alzheimer’s & Dementia Community Action Team (Rsvl A/D) continues its popular Dementia: Caring and Coping series. Dr. Sonia Coelho, Ph. D. and neuropsychologist, will discuss the topic of testing and treatment for dementia and the real-world implications. The talk begins at 1:00 p.m. Read more

Roseville’s fall golf leagues are ready to begin, and we still have a few spots available. Sign up today for league play. We offer a variety of times to fit your schedule. League members will have standing tee times. Call 651-633-TEES (8337) to sign up for a league. Pay as you play. Green fees are $10.50 plus tax. Roseville Cedarholm Golf Course is a par 3, nine-hole course of 1,345 yards and is located in Roseville at 2323 North Hamline Ave., one block north of Highway 36. Read more

Lau Hawaiian Collective

Join us on Thursday, August 17 for the grand finale of Roseville’s 2017 Summer Entertainment series. We’re closing out the summer's series of free concerts for residents with the Lau Hawaiian Collective. The music begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre in Roseville Central Park, at the corner of Lexington Ave and County Road C. The Lau Hawaiian Collective is dedicated to preserving and performing Hawaiian music. Read more

Extreme Mobile Electronix

Parents, challenge your child’s creativity and intellect. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to enroll them in an Extreme Mobile Electronix Challenge, August 21-25. Over the week, participants will build 20 to 30 machines, including a mobile juggernaut equipped with disc shooter, sirens, flashing lights and voice recorder. Kids will also make and take home their very own electric vehicle.
