Deer Management

Roseville will soon begin implementing a deer management plan approved by the City Council in December. The City’s deer management efforts will start in mid-to-late January and be completed by the end of February. Locations for control efforts include Ladyslipper Park, Owasso Hills Park, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, and the Leaf Recycling Center with activities taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings between dusk and dawn. Read more

Hands-Only CPR Class

Got an hour to spare, you could learn how to save a life. Roseville firefighters are offering free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. Upcoming classes will take place on January 18, February 15 and March 15. Classes meet at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. North. Firefighters will teach a two-step, hands-only CPR process that could help you save a life. Read more

Self Defense

Safety Awareness and Self Defense

Enroll your child in a safety awareness and self-defense class and your child will benefit from the skills learned for years to come. Anyone, five years and older, including adults, is invited to take this class. Participants will improve concentration, increase strength and balance and enhance coordination. Classes meet Thursday evenings from February 9 to March 30. Participants are placed in classes based on age and skill and learn self-discipline and defense. Read more
