Public Meetings Scheduled for Tenant Notification Ordinance

In an effort to help provide housing stability, protection, and notification measures to Roseville tenants, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) issued instructions to create a tenant notification ordinance for all new owners of licensed rental properties (buildings of 5 or more units.)

The EDA is hosting 5 events at multiple Roseville locations. The events are designed to offer an opportunity to engage with renters, licensed multi-family property owners and managers, and advocates to discuss the ordinance and allow space for people to share their thoughts and feedback.

Roseville Equity and Inclusion Graphic

Why We Lead with Race

The City’s plan to address systemic equity begins with the foundational concept that the entire community’s success is dependent on every individual’s ability to succeed. Data has consistently shown that the most persistent and detrimental disparities in regard to education, housing, workforce, public safety, healthcare, and entrepreneurship are largest when looking at race.

Read an article from Equity and Inclusion Manager Thomas Brooks about why the City focuses on racial equity, and how that focus may be applied to other marginalized areas as well.

Choose Roseville Highlights Adam's Soul To Go

Adam's Soul to Go owner Adam Randall says he always wanted to be in the restaurant business. That's why he jumped at the opportunity to be in Roseville at Potluck, a very different take on the traditional food court. The businesses in Potluck are not chains, are all Minnesota-based, and are very chef-driven.

“Potluck offers customers an excellent variety of pasta, burgers, sweets, salads, and more,” Randall said. “A group can have ten different entrees independently, but sit and enjoy them together, just like a potluck dinner at Grandma’s house.”

Randall said Potluck is a reflection of the attitude the City of Roseville has toward diversifying dining options.
