Parks and Recreation Fall Program Registration is Open


Fall program registration for Roseville Parks and Recreation activities is now open. Choose from a full list of opportunities for kids and adults, including new programs such as Nature Connect, dance classes, and more! 

You can register online, in person at Roseville City Hall, or by phone. Scholarships are available for Roseville residents.

There is still time to help support Roseville students!

Roseville Area Schools and Roseville Community Education are teaming up with Do Good Roseville, parent-teacher associations, and numerous local companies and organizations as they collect new school supplies for students.

Roseville Fall Tree Sale

Roseville Tree Sale Receives Early Interest


In partnership with Tree Trust, the City is continuing its emerald ash borer accelerated management plan to remove diseased trees.
 
On August 15, the City began its fall tree sale. 150 trees were made available to residents at discounted prices, to help promote tree planting in residential areas. Within hours, many of those trees had been purchased, but there are still some shade trees available.

Deadlines Approach for Grant Opportunities


BizRecycling is excited to support two grant opportunities for businesses located in Ramsey and Washington counties. Both have an application deadline of August 19.

The Food Recovery Grant supports programs that recover surplus, and edible food for distribution to people in need. The Waste Reduction & Innovation Grant supports projects that prevent the creation of waste. These grants are open to businesses, non-profit organizations, colleges, and some K-12 schools in Ramsey and Washington counties.

Roseville elections

Primary Canvass Completed


Roseville City Council held a special meeting Friday, August 12 to canvass the results of the Primary Election. 

All City Council seats are non-partisan. The following candidates will be on the ballot for the general election, which will be held Tuesday, November 8. Early voting begins September 23.

Council Member Candidates (2 Seats):

This Friday: Fridays with Firefighters


The final Fridays with Firefighters of the summer will be THIS Friday at the Roseville Fire station. Come meet the fire fighters, spray the fire hoses, and take part in other fun activities.

Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis

Next Week: Roseville Business Council Meeting


Ron Wirtz, Director of Regional Outreach for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will discuss the speed and breadth of economic recovery in Minnesota. He also will share some of the major economic challenges, and the role of the labor force in long-term economic growth.

Using an interactive survey, Ron will gauge attendees’ sentiment regarding local business activity, hiring demand, labor availability, outlook and other issues.
