Officer Duxbury released from hospital, crowd cheers his recovery.

Officer Ryan Duxbury, the Roseville police officer who was wounded in a shooting on April 5, returned home April 10 after surgery to remove a bullet from his neck. 

Duxbury has been a member of the Roseville Police Department for three years.

Youth receive award for essay contest 


Two Roseville students were honored for their contribution to the 2021-2022 Human Rights, Inclusion and Equity Commission Essay Contest. Winners: Vanya Romero (pictured here, standing next to her mother) and Jackson Arlt (not pictured, attended the meeting remotely) wrote essays for their entries. Students were invited to submit essays, artworks, and even sculptures to answer this year's question.

Students were asked to answer - "Following the pandemic, how can you and your fellow students become more involved in helping to improve, reconnect and unite the Roseville community?"

Mosquito control to begin in Roseville


Every spring, after the snow melts and as temperatures rise, mosquito larvae can be found in ponds and wetlands around the Twin Cities. The Metropolitan Mosquito Control District (MMCD) will be conducting surveillance and treatment activities in Roseville to reduce the risk of disease and annoyance in an environmentally-sensitive manner.

Metropolitan Mosquito Control District has just begun its season. Residents may see trucks, helicopters, or staff with identifiable “Mosquito Control” apparel in neighborhoods and parks. Read more

Roseville Clean-up Day - April 23


On April 23, bring items you have that require special disposal to the Dale Street Soccer Field Parking Lot at 2555 Dale Street.

The city will pay approximately one-third of the disposal costs to help you get rid of your items that no longer have use to you.

Reducing the items that wind up in landfills is our first priority!

Check the list below to see if the items you have that you no longer use could be donated to one of the organizations below! These options are free and charitable donations are tax deductible.

  • Bridging, 1730 Terrace Drive, accepts good quality mattresses, box springs, furniture and other household items. These items are donated to people to help them get a fresh start!
  • Goodwill, 1627 County Road B or 2500 Cleveland Ave, accepts reusable clothes, books, sporting goods or housewares
  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 510 County Road D, New Brighton, accepts new, surplus and like-new building materials.
