Roseville Police Department Hosts Catalytic Converter Etching Event

In an effort to prevent theft of catalytic converters, RPD's Community Action Team (CAT) and Larsen Motors joined together for a catalytic converter etching detail. Larsen Motors provided their mechanics and equipment while Roseville officers installed anti-theft CATETCH markings on approximately 50 vehicles. This event was funded through a grant from the Department of Commerce.

Due to the success of this event, the Roseville Police Department hopes to secure additional grants to support future catalytic converter etching opportunities for Roseville residents. To learn more, please contact Roseville Police Department Auto Theft Specialist.
